Press Release-Veterans Walk of Honor wreath laying 11-10-08

Merlin Community Park
Nov. 10 - 11 a.m. - The Merlin Community Park Board
and VFW Post 2302 will host an event at the Josephine
County Veterans Walk of Honor at the community
park. A laying of wreaths will honor departed veterans.
Names placed on the monument since 2007 will be
read. Guest speaker: Keith Heck, U.S. Marine Corps
Veteran. After the ceremony Boy Scout Troop 77 will
retire old and worn American flags.
