Declaration

posted in Albright |

Public service in Josephine County is a noble pursuit that requires of an individual, a personal constitution made of iron, forged in a furnace of humility, and clothed in suit of Kevlar. The road to the county seat is unfortunately fraught with public sediment that lacks optimism and respect for public servants. Recent events surrounding the commissioners have further reinforced this negativity, and a new approach to civic responsibility and transparency in county governmental affairs is needed by those who aspire to serve. The foundation of effective governance has been injured here in Josephine County, and this foundation is in need of immediate repair. To restore effective governance, unification of the commissioners as a governing force needs to occur, and public confidence in their elected leaders needs to be restored. To this end I have submitted my candidacy.
