GOVERNMENTAL EXPERIENCE:
Josephine County School Board; Josephine County Compensation Committee.
LEADERSHIP. During the 30 years that I have lived and worked in Josephine County, I have not only been successful in business, working with hundreds of commercial accounts, but I have also attained leadership positions in Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, The Homebuilders Association, and The Boys and Girls Club. Through these activities, I have learned that the key to success is the ability of people to work together to achieve desired results. I hope to use my knowledge and experience to present reasonable solutions to the pending funding crisis of the County.
GOALS. As your commissioner:
1. I will strive to avoid the many costly mistakes and poor decisions that we have seen in the recent past.
2. I will work with the other commissioners to find common ground on which we can work together in the best interests of the citizens of the county.
3. I will ensure that Public Safety remains the #1 priority.
4. I will work to restore a reasonable timber harvest and/or a continuation of federal payments.
5. I will promote the formation of a public fire district in those areas not currently served.
6. I will work to reopen our Library.
7. I will make myself available to hear the concerns, requests, and recommendations of the citizens.
